MEP Systems
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing — including HVAC and NFPA fire-protection coordination across every trade.
The systems behind the build.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are the systems that make a building habitable, and on most projects they represent the most complex coordination challenge of all. MTC plans and coordinates MEP across South Florida builds — HVAC, power distribution, water supply and drainage, and NFPA-compliant fire protection — so every system fits, functions, and passes inspection.
MEP lives in the same ceilings, walls, and chases, which means conflict is the default unless someone manages it. We coordinate the routing of ductwork, conduit, and piping against the structure and against each other, resolving clashes before they're built rather than cutting and patching after. That coordination is where a smooth project is won or lost.
On the mechanical side, we handle HVAC system layout, ductwork, and equipment installation sized for the South Florida load — where cooling and humidity control run nearly year-round. Electrical scope spans service upgrades, distribution, and code-compliant rough-in through finish. Plumbing covers supply, waste, and venting, with fixture setting coordinated against every other trade in the room.
Fire protection is its own world, and we treat it that way. Sprinkler and alarm systems are coordinated to NFPA standards and worked through with the authority having jurisdiction, because life-safety systems get the closest scrutiny of any inspection and there is no room for shortcuts.
Sequenced correctly alongside structure and envelope, MEP rough-in and finish keep the whole project on schedule. Backed by Florida license CGC 1528440, MTC delivers the systems behind the build coordinated, code-compliant, and ready for the trades and the occupants that follow.
We also plan for the long term, specifying equipment and layouts that are serviceable and efficient rather than merely cheap to install — because in South Florida's climate, mechanical systems run hard nearly year-round. The goal is a building that's comfortable to occupy and economical to run for years after we leave the site.
Every trade, in sync.
